Francesco Ciavaglioli (Avezzano, Italy, 1983). His artistic research is characterized by various and mixed media, through which he deals with the theme of image and its dissolution.
His works are ghostly visions, shadows suspended among individual and collective memory; they are perturbing presences oscillating between a historical imaginary – sometimes archaic – and a more contemporary and common everyday life.
Working with different image reproduction’s processes, he triggers errors, discrepancies that transform images consuming them, causing a suspension in the formal comprehension, a gap of difference, looking for a deeper and visceral revelation.
